Prior to TKO Shannon was a regular at a local boxing club from a very young but didn’t feel she was progressing as the focus was mainly circuits and being female she wasn’t getting the ring time she deserved, after searching around she found TKO and dragged the whole family across to Kickboxing! At TKO her talent shined through and the coach’s quickly harnessed her skill and gave her the respect and opportunities she deserved.

Shannon started at TKO in our cadet program at the age of 12yrs and quickly become a integral part of the coaching team as she started teaching at the age of 16yrs when she was a Brown Belt. She was awarded her Black Belt at the age of 17yrs and has had 15 light continuous bouts so far.  Her passion lies in the teaching and you only have to watch one her of Little Kickers or Juniors classes to see how effective her teaching style is! Little Kickers start at 3yrs and her group are disciplined and committed which is no easier task for a group so young!

Despite dedicating so much time to TKO she has still managed to start a family and obviously sign them up to Little Kickers!
